Get the look: The Peacoat

With the arrival of Autumn comes the cooler weather so it’s time to pull out those transeasonal pieces to see you through until winter. And what better way to acclimatise than with a classic double-breasted peacoat. You can thank the European sailors and navy for this one!

This timeless jacket goes with just about anything, from t-shirts and shirts to sweaters and cardigans, and opt for versatile colours like black, navy or tan. A peacoat shouldn’t be too loose or bulky and should hit at the bottom of the hips. Come winter, layer up your knits underneath, button up your jacket, wrap a scarf around your neck and tuck the ends in to keep warm.
